The Lockey 2835 works great for the summer rental properties I own. Just email the code to the renter and then at the end of the season, it’s easy to change the code for the following season. Also, as a remote landlord, it also works great for having contractors working on the house and not having them searching for a “hidden key”. Just give them the code, and there good to go. Really like my Lockey 2835. I ordered the marine version to assure greater life in the outdoor uncovered environment. I liked it so much I've order a bunch for other applications. Great where you can easily set a mode where the door latches but a code is not needed to open it when you are going in and out a lot, and then with a few simple button pushes, back to auto-lociking mode. Once ordered, it was received in the time indicated with all parts, instructions, and manual. I retained a professional lock smith to do the installation, although I could have done it my self. He commented on the quality of your product as well as the ease he was able to install it. From the inside, you can exit freely at all times with this keyless lock. A passage feature even comes built-in. You want to use the 2835 to upgrade your key in knob or key in lever locks. For your doors with a deadbolt above your knob, we recommend replacing the deadbolt with our Lockey M210. For special situations where you need the door to auto-lock each time, you could remove your deadbolt altogether, and then use a cover plate behind the 2835. The plate covers up the hole left by your deadbolt.
Installation on common doors takes you no longer than vacuuming out your car - and about the same amount of effort. Requiring only one extra screw hole, you can show off your new keyless entry system the day your lock arrives. No need to worry about the elements either when you install the Lockey 2835 on an exterior door. Heavy rain, snow or ice won't phase it, nor extreme warm or cold.
