A locking system Sherlock Holmes would be proud of, the American made 175 BIO biometric fingerprint reader and leverset injects security, mobility, and organization into your business. Rather than signing keys in and out, re-keying when a key goes missing, or complaining about doors being left open, get this industrial strength biometric lock, and you won't ever deal with keys again.  As a hi-tech fingerprint recognition system, the lock and reader work together to block access to anyone who is not enrolled. This eliminates risk, and unauthorized entry from duplicated keys, as well as code or card sharing.  Combined with Mark's Grade 2 cylindrical Survivor leverset, the unit is powered with 4AA batteries, so you don't need an external power controller, or have to run wires.  A small pigtail connects from the leverset into the reader on the secure side of the door. An interior frame plate (escutcheon) surrounds the reader and lever and hides this connection wire.  A 6-digit keypad is provided for enrolling users individually at the reader.  But you also have the option of using the included software CD and a fingerprint enroller (sold separate).  This can save time for setting up larger user populations.  Lock activity is recorded, which means you can audit this system.  You never know when this may come in handy for maintaining accountability, or identifying a thief.  To do this, you'll need the USB Cable, which you can then connect from your laptop/netbook, directly into the lock.  Biometric access control and fingerprint locks are the future, and you won't find a more well crafted unit than the 175 BIO by Marks.  Part of Napco, Marks has a reputation for quality that no other biometric lock manufactuer can claim.
