As for the lock, despite my extremely limited mechanical skills, I was able to install this lock myself with a minimum of effort. I also opted for the Nexia solution. Yes, it's a few bucks a month but it's easy to use and so versatile. I now have comprehensive knowledge of who is entering my residence, when, and how long they stay. I had several different keyless locks in the last 15 years and most all of them didnt work well from the day they were installed. Now this one is 100 percent better and is working perfect..ya it cost more .. but remember you get what you pay for ..And this is a top of the line item..
