You manage users, maintenance personnel, and temporary contractors at your laptop or office PC using Schlage SMS management software, the Computer Interface Pack (CIP), and an adapter cable.  From here, you connect the Hand-held Device (HHD) unit to your PC via USB, and download your configuration files.  To transfer your Schlage BE367 user data to the lock, you connect the Computer Interface Pack (CIP), HH Serial cable, and Hand-held Device, and follow the screen prompts.  Simple to use iButton RFID key fobs grant entry with your BE367, and each iButton is unique, and impossible to duplicate.  Bottom line, what does the Schlage BE367 do for you?  It offers you a powerful combination of accountability and security.  Tenants have zero incentive to give out their access credential, and it makes copying keys impossible.  This reduces your liability by insulating you from unauthorized and unwelcome guests who try to live in your units without paying rent.
