You free up time and save your business money by eliminating the distribution, tracking, and collecting of keys when you invest in this online access control system by IEI. With one click of your mouse you can remotely open and update your door(s); your receptionist can buzz visitors in, and you can quickly change the access rights to your doors when an employee leaves.  Compact in size, we recommend this access control system for small to mid-size applications.  Typically installed at the door above the ceiling over the door, the MiniMax 3 pairs with electric strikes and maglocks, as well as wiegand supported readers (formats up to 39 bits), and IEI keypads/card readers.  You can create a PIN, card, or PIN followed by card access control system.  The MiniMax 3 backplane includes a power supply for your keypad/reader.  You want to use a separate power supply for your electric strike or mag lock.  We like the Securitron BPS.  Setup and management of your door is easily accomplished by using Hub Manager Professional software.  And getting your new MiniMax 3 up and running is not difficult, it simply requires a small investment of time.  You simply load the software onto your network, and follow the setup wizard for bringing your door online.  You can also communicate to the MiniMax via a direct PC connection.  You will need the USB-Serial adapter to do this.  Once you enter your users into the software's database, and assign the time(s) for access, you are done and can begin using the system.  Designed for single door applications, you can also network the Mini Max 3 with other Mini Max 3 controllers, or Max 3 Access Systems to achieve managed access for up to 64 doors per site, up to 999 sites, and up to 20,000 total users - system wide.
