Customer Questions & Answers
- Q Can you attach a PC to lock to input names and fingerprint data? answer nowAsked by January 14, 2021 11:08 AMonAnswered by the admin
This model is a stand-alone lock that does not accept any programming from software. All user information must be programmed directly at the lock.
For a model that does support software programming through a PC, please see the Strattec RTS!

You do have the ability to remove a users fingerprint from the lock so that they only have access via PIN code. Only users with an enrolled fingerprint will have access via the scanner. It is recommended to always have at least one fingerprint enrolled within the lock to prevent the lock from opening with the # key (typically an administrative user).

The exterior keypad is fully weather-resistant for rain/snow (IP56 certified) and will work great for entry doors. However, the interior battery portion is not fully sealed. This unit is not recommended for gate applications where both sides of the door are exposed to the elements for extended periods of time.
