locks are great however i ordered the remote entry to go along with the locking system and it as well as the locks arrived in a timely manner. The adapters for the remote system arrived a week after the locks and remotes arrived. My electrician had already run wiring to both new locks and installed them at an additional cost of $500. We had no Idea that the remote entries came with an adapter until they arrived a week late.

The Trilogy DL2700 is the work horse of my keyless locks. I have the versatility of using different user codes, and still can have key override keyed to my master key. The battery life is impressive and they are easy to install and maintain.

Customer Questions & Answers

  1. Answered by the admin

If you're looking for a lock that has a keypad on both sides, we recommend to look at the Trilogy DL5200.

  2. Q What is life cycle of this lock? answer now
Asked by Mike Beaty on January 22, 2024 11:46 AM
    Answered by the admin

The batteries in this model will typically last ~2 years depending on usage. As for overall life span, Trilogy is very well known for being a very robust lockset and we have heard feedback from our customers stating that their locks have been in use for 15+ years without any issues.

  3. Answered by the admin

This model can be ordered to accept 7-pin Corbin LFIC cores but must be specified at the time of purchase. We would recommend ordering this unit with one of our sales representatives to ensure that the lock is ordered correctly.

  4. Q How can I change my Corbin to a Schlage? answer now
Asked by Steve Yaros on December 6, 2021 2:28 PM
    Answered by the admin

These units typically need to be ordered for the correct keyway as the handle/drive assembly is different to support the different keyways.

  5. Q How many codes can the weather proof model allow? answer now
Asked by Karen on April 15, 2020 11:00 AM
    Answered by the admin

The DL2700 has a 100 user code capacity. For more users, you will want to upgrade to the DL2800 or the DL3000.

  6. Answered by the admin

This lock will automatically lock the door ~3 seconds after entering a code for entry.

  7. Q Can the DL2700IC be used with a panic/push bar on the opposite side of the door? answer now
Asked by Gary Stuckenschmidt on October 22, 2018 3:38 PM
    A

No, this is a standard cylindrical lock. You will need the ETDL27 lock for panic bars. But you must also have the type of panic bar that this lock will match which you can find the list under the Features tab on the webpage.

  8. A This is not a suggested installation. Having a handle without the core in it will leave your door with the ability to be tampered with and gain access. It is suggested to install the core so your lock is completely secure.
