Customer Questions & Answers
- Q How do you change the batteries after they are dead and the lock is locked . With out being able ... answer nowAsked by December 19, 2023 1:25 PMonAnswered by the admin
This product features a power failure override in the event the batteries die and you cannot access the battery pack. With a PP3 battery, you can connect to the contact pins around the blue and red LEDs. Then type in the Master Code for this unit. The lock will open, allowing you to change the batteries!
- Answered by the admin
As with most battery powered locks and products, it mostly depends on how often the lock is used. This product in particular is rated for 15,000 cycles (or uses) before the batteries should be replaced. When the batteries are low, the lock will provide you with a red flashing LED, indicating the batteries need to be replaced soon.

- Q Is there a visual indication that the door is locked? answer nowAsked by September 7, 2018 5:35 PMonA
Yes, the position of the small thumb turn on the front tells you if it is locked or unlocked.
- Q Can multiple codes be programmed into this system for multiple users or is it a one code for all ... answer nowAsked by June 14, 2018 11:59 AMonA
While it has four different levels of users it has two modes of operation, you can do a private use which would be one single code used repeatedly by a user or you can do shared use which would again allow only a single code to be used but it would be added and deleted everytime a new person uses the lock. The second option is best for gym locker rooms or other shared type facilities.

The CL1000 has been a great time saver for us’ I use it to lock the medication cabinet in a surgery center. I don’t have to worry about key inventory’ my staff is no longer having to find who has the keys to get to medications when they need them quickly’ everyone is happy with the locks. They have been very dependable for us. I currently have two and plan to get many more. Thank you Go Keyless.

It was great to find the CL100X has even more features than we’ve used – including single use and dedicated use programmability. We’ve requested substitutes for architects to use the CL100X as an alternate for other locks in a few places now because they are easy to install’ and they work better than the mechanical push button locks in the same price range. Every time we’ve gotten the substitute approved’ they were more happy with these locks than the mechanical ones previously used at the hospitals and clinics.

The products we received from them are extremely functional and easy to program. We use the keyless lock to access out key box’ so we open the box close to 30 times a day and never have an issue with them’ extremely reliable.
