Customer Questions & Answers

  1. Q Can I mount this horizontally? answer now
Asked by Albert on July 24, 2023 2:03 PM
    Answered by the admin

This lock is designed to work in the vertical position. If you are needing a lock in which the horizontal position is desired, it is recommended to look at other options, such as the KL1000 for cabinet locks.

  2. Q Hi what is the difference between key over ride and standard? answer now
Asked by Michael Fattakhov on January 10, 2022 6:17 PM
    A

Standard does not have a key override. That means you cannot use a key to unlock the door.

  3. Answered by the admin

This lock ships in a Stainless Steel finish. The deadbolt does need to be manually locked after entry so it can certainly be left in the unlocked state until the door needs to be resecured.
