Digilock T-Series Locks offer a unique solution for 14-18 gauge metal locker accessibility and is fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guides set by the US Access Board. The locks operate by touching a button key to the front contact pin, eliminating the need for pinching, grasping or turning of the wrist to operate the lock. Lock installations are easily managed with a Programming Button Key unique to the lock system or any registered Manager Button Key. Designed for lockers with lift handles and vertical lock bars. The user touches the assigned User Button Key to unlock the lock. The dead bolt will retract for 10 seconds, providing ample time to open the locker door before the bolt extends. The user closes the door to automatically lock.
The Digilock DT-30 model is designed for metal lockers with handles and vertical lock bars and offers an auto-locking deadbolt that locks after 10 seconds. Students will no longer have to waste time fiddling with a combination lock in order to get to their books because, let’s face it, you only have so much time in between classes. And, when a student would forget their combination or an administrator needed access to a locker, the administrator won’t need to go look up the combination, they just need their Manager Button Key. No keyway means the lock can’t be picked ensuring personal items are safe from would be thieves.
