We are at a church. We aren’t concerned about an attack, but we needed something like this on a door simply to control traffic flow. It was installed by professionals and we were happy with it for half of the first day. Then, someone was on their way out the door (and didn’t know we had the magnetic lock) and it didn’t open right away, but with little effort, this gentleman just pressed harder and it opened. It opens easily from both sides, and the locking mechanism seems to be working fine. It was supposed to resist up to 600 pounds of pressure, but I can easily open it with one hand. The installation is good, and the plates match up, but it simply doesn’t resist much effort to open it, and therefore has created even more of a problem than we had in the beginning.
