When you have a single exit door with inside touchbar setup, or double exit doors (must have center mullion between doors) with inside touchbar setup, and you need to either release the door remotely, such as with an intercom, or you have an outside keypad/reader for gaining access, then be sure to pick up this rim exit device electric strike. Being completely surface-mounted, the 9600 series Genesis III is the first of its kind. The 9600 accommodates rim exit devices in metal or wood jambs, and features an internally mounted solenoid and two stainless steel, independently operating locking mechanisms. East to install with all of the components encased in the 9" x 1-¾" x ¾" faceplate, requiring no cuts to the jamb prior to installation.
