You've been thinking about a way to solve this using codes, yet you don't want to spend thousands of dollars on something that would be overkill. The 212 Series is what you want. It allows you to restrict passage for up to 120 employees, members, visitors, etc..., is designed for a painless surface mount setup on a flat surface, and you'll have cash left over after putting it in. You can place it on your door frame, or even a nearby wall if need be. Operation of the keypad is effortless. Simply follow the instructions provided for enrolling users, right at the keypad. You'll get many years of use with this keypad entry system. If you need to install it outdoors there's no issue, it's weather resistant. If there's going to be a lot of use of the keypad daily, again there's no issue because it's made for medium to high traffic environments. The buttons themselves are hardened to prevent wear.

If you're doing a simple replacement, there isn't anything special you would need to know or do before doing so.
- Q Does this unit come with the power supply and everything else needed for installation? answer nowAsked by on June 16, 2018 3:35 PMANo, this is only the front end keypad itself. You would need to purchase all of the additional items, your locking devices such as a magnetic lock or electric strike and the power supply. If you need a magnetic lock you would need all of the additional items as well. For this type of project, we recommend you speak with our sales staff to make sure you purchase the correct products for your specific door and needs.
