I installed this lock around November 2017. In that time, the batteries failed twice! Supposedly they are supposed to last for at least 3 years! The first time, the company shipped us a replacement set. It took a long time, but it finally arrived. Now it is January 2019 and I’m about to contact them again for ANOTHER replacement set. I had to put up a lock box so people could get the key to unlock the gate. Kind of pointless and asinine….
