No more wasting time on costly lockouts and lost keys. The versatile KIC6510 from KeyinCode offers multiple keyless lock access methods without having to fumble around with traditional keys. Users can access the lock through keypad code entry, a tap of their smart card, or their smartphone. Managing multiple locks has never been easier thanks to the free K3 Connect app, which allows admins to create and share user access rights as well as customize lock functions right from their compatible Bluetooth smartphone.
Schedule specific time periods for code-free access allowing guests to open the door without having to use any credentials, perfect for open business and delivery hours. Start the business day off right with the First Man In function, which keeps the door locked during a scheduled passage period until the first valid credential is used to open the lock, then remains open for the rest of that period. This ensures your building or room is only open when a registered user is there to open the doors. Audit trails can also be viewed from the smartphone to see who is accessing the lock and when. Whether it’s an emergency situation or the occupant just needs some privacy, lockdown can be engaged to prevent user access so only an admin can open the lock. For sensitive or higher security applications, the KIC6510 is also equipped with dual-credential verification which requires at least two valid users to open the lock.

When the battery is low, the red LED will flash 5 times after being opened with a valid credential. When the batteries are fully depleted, the unit will remain locked and the physical override key can be used to gain entry to exchange the batteries.
Two mounting screws are exposed on the interior side above/below the handle. The other two mounting screws are hidden beneath the battery holder.

As long as the Sargent cylinder is a small format IC core, it should work with this model.

It would be nice if all lock manufacturers stuck to a standard hole pattern for their locks. I replaced an older mechanical code lock and the holes required for the new lock were offset just enough that I had to drill overlapping holes and ream them to fit the new lock.
That isn’t the reason I only gave it four stars, though. I downrated it a bit because I am limited to three passage schedules which requires me to edit them when we have holidays or close early rather than have all of our standard configurations scheduled so I only had to turn them on and off as needed. It would also be nice if more than one phone could edit those schedules. Overall, though, it is a great product.

We have had this lock on our Fire Station for 3 yrs. Very handy for entry and knowing who is there. Vendors and service people can have their own code and you know when they are there or have made a delivery.

I like the product and the customer service is great when I had questions and when a part failed they replaced it fast. The one thing I would really like to see is a better manual for using the lock and the app its not very self explanatory and I had lots of questions. My questions were answered but I feel there needs to be a instruction manual for using the app with the lock. Once you know how it works its great.
