  1. Poor Quality

I like what this product dies, but they’re very poorly constructed. I purchased one before. It arrived damaged and had to be shipped back for replacement. It stopped working after a while and after speaking to a technician, they said it had to be replaced because it was out of warranty. I purchased another which arrived damaged (the top of the power plug in the device was crushed against a side.) I had to take it apart to straighten it out and reassemble it. Luckily it worked. If anther company made a similar product, I’d purchase that instead.

The Kevo Plus is only designed to communicate with your Kwikset BLE enabled locks. If you are looking for a hub that can manage multiple types of devices, I would recommend looking into a Z-Wave system such as Vera or Nexia.
