This kit does not include the Marine Grade finish, just the normal Satin Chrome finish. The parts are available separately so you could order the exact parts with a Marine Grade finish lock. Contact [email protected] for more information or assistance.

This gate kit is meant for single opening gates but can work for french style doors with flush bolts or similar hardware to secure the secondary door.
- Q What is better aluminum or steel? Which one is stronger or will last longer? answer nowAsked by July 12, 2020 5:26 PMonAnswered by the admin
Steel is much stronger and durable compared to aluminum. However, steel is known to corrode much faster than aluminum without protective coatings in high moisture/salt environments.

This lock can endure harsh/cold weather due to its mechanical design. Typically, these locks are rated for temperatures down to -40 degrees F/C.
- Q What is the clearance between where the deadbolt latch (where the bolt throws into) and the latch... answer nowAsked by October 17, 2018 11:16 PMonA
This combination includes a gate box which is designed to be cut and welded in place of the one currently on the gate. You will need to powder coat and paint the new box to match your existing setup.

Yes it is, either welded on, or may be bolted on.
- Q My door needs a 2" D lock , this one says it has 1 3/4 D. Dou you have any key less lock for a 2"... answer nowAsked by October 21, 2016 9:55 PMonA
The good news about this lock is that it comes with the gatebox required to mount. So you only have to weld the gatebox into the gate to mount the lock so the current thickness of the gate will not affect this setup once the new gatebox attached.

The dual cylinder combination lock is perfect for my exterior gate and looks great. The construction seems really sturdy for putting up with weather and kids. I also love the backplate and mounting options. The instructions were a bit confusing, but not impossible. Contrary to what the instructions say, there is no additional support or instruction on the manufacturer website—just a pdf download if the printed instructions.

I haven’t had it long enough to speak to its durability and longevity. That said, It looks great and works as described. Pros: It seems strong, is easy to install and performs adequately for a gate lock. Cons: It has to be disassembled to change the combination and the numbers in the combination can be entered in any order, greatly reducing the security. Even so, for a gate lock clearly visible to all my neighbors it is adequate and very convenient.

This is a well built keyless option for use on such things as pools, security gates, and doors. It is a bit complicated to assemble as the instructions provided with the unit are for installation primarily in wood doors and not the metal box provided with the unit.
