  1. Item as described.

    Badeen M (verified owner)

Keypad arrived on time. Instructions are clear and provide sufficient directions for installation and setup. Easy to program, no need to download or connections to PC or WIFI and best of all it’s good on batteries.

Buttons on keypad could be a little softer; often it’s needed to press a little harder to get it.

  1. Q Is it available in aged bronze? answer now
Asked by Dao Vo on April 22, 2022 2:32 PM

This model is available in the Aged Bronze (643e) finish.

  2. A

Yes, this model contains all of the hardware needed to replace your existing locking system.

  3. Q Can the handle on the keypad side be reversed? answer now
Asked by Vincent Spinali on January 5, 2021 8:03 AM

Yes! The handle on this model is field reversible.

  4. Q How do you change the code? answer now
Asked by Robert Casari on June 12, 2020 11:16 AM

To change the code on a CO-100:

    1. Enter your programming code followed by *
    2. Enter 3 - *
    3. Enter the new access code followed by ** (star twice)
    4. Press * again to finish.
  5. A

The CO-100 can be ordered with a privacy function (function 40) so that the inside can be locked and have the keypad disabled while in this mode. If this function is not requested on your order, this lock will not have the ability to be secured from the inside. An example part number for this lock with privacy feature would be CO-100-CY-40-626 (CY for cylindrical chassis, 626 for the satin nickel finish).

  6. Q Will this lock fit in a metal door? The mortise box is approximately 8 3/4 inches answer now
Asked by David Scott Bloom on December 18, 2017 5:57 PM
A A mortise wrap plate may be needed for that type of installation. It is important to measure and make sure your mortise pocket meets the specifications of the lock you are trying to retrofit.
  7. A
While the mortise cutout will be the same there are additional holes that will need to be drilled in order to install the CO-100. Yes, it is battery operated and they last on the average two years.  There will be a template in the instruction for use before installing on the door that will lay out the holes and sizes you need to drill for install.
