All Schlage locks have a lifetime warranty on the finish of the product and all finishes are rated for exterior doors.

If you require the door to be secured on both the exterior and interior sides, you will need a double-sided lock to accomplish this. This setup is not typically recommended for entry doors as they do not allow free egress.

This model requires a Standard 2 1/8 in. cross-bore for mounting. For the deadbolt latch itself, the bore should be 1 in.

Yes, the lock is universal handing and can be used on either side of the door.

The programming code can be found on a sticker located on the backplate of the keypad unit. The lock will need to be uninstalled to find this information.
