The door should simply pull shut as long as the latch and strike plate are in the proper positions. If the latch is not sliding in when pressed against the strike plate, it may need to be rotated to the proper position for your door.
- Q How can I delete all previous codes? Even the ones I do not know that was added by another person? answer nowAsked by October 2, 2019 11:25 AMonAnswered by the admin
The best method for this is to hard reset the device back to factory defaults. To do this, you may follow the below procedure:
1.) Remove the two mounting screws on the inside of the lock.
2.) Disconnect the battery.
3.) Press and release the "Schlage" button.
4.) Reconnect the battery and wait for the "Schlage" button to stop glowing.
5.) Press and hold the "Schlage" button until it glows green and the lock beeps. - Answered by the admin
The low battery indicator is displayed on the Schlage button and will typically give an audible notification. For the FE575, the low battery indicator is below:
LOW BATTERY WARNING: There is a delay before unlocking after a valid 4-Digit code is entered. The lock will beep High then Low, then blink 1 Red then Green light flash.

A I dont have a 6 digit code but I'm trying to change my 4 digit code how can I do thatAnswered by the adminEvery Schlage residential lock has a 6-digit programming code that is used to add or change the 4-digit access codes. This 6-digit code can be found on the original user manual that was shipped with your lock or it can be found on a white sticker located on the backplate of the keypad unit. This 6-digit code is required to change any programming within the lock.

No, these are stand-alone locks that only program at the keypad.

Easy to install, easy to program, simple to use.
Only issue I’ve had is sometimes that sometimes it seems to switch to expecting 6 inputs instead of 4 and I’ll have to fail out several times before it lets me enter a 4-digit code. Seems to be related to cold weather.
Otherwise, great!

This keypad is easy to install, program and use. I have 5 at my business, it creates a lot of ease getting in and out. It’s also easy to reprogram when needed. I always keep a backup keypad ready; these are heavily used at my business and some mechanisms begin to wear out. Overall very pleased with the style and function of the product.

We had a supply closet with a broken lock from another company. We order a replacement lock from that company and the unit was hard to set the code with and eventually broke again. So I came across this product, spoke to a service representative who answered my questions and ordered it. I was very pleased with the ease of installation and the overall quality of the product.

I own a gym and many times the key to the bathroom would get locked in. This wouldn’t be an issue for most gyms, but we are 24 hours with staff only here 2.5 hours Mon to Fri. So locking the key inside was a big deal. Now we don’t have that problem. It makes things run a lot smoother. This lock is easy to program and easy for everyone to use.
