If the lock is set up with the Schlage system option (ideal for Android users or households using both Android and iOS), you’ll need to add a Schlage Sense Wi-Fi Adapter to your home Wi-Fi network. Notifications will be enabled by default from the Schlage Sense app but can always be updated to your preference in lock settings.
After you’ve removed the lock from your app, use the app to pair the lock again. This time you will be presented with two options for set up – “Setup with HomeKit” or “Set up with Schlage System.” For your lock to compatible with both the iOS and Android smartphone app, you will need to select “Set up with the Schlage System.”
It’s important to note that virtual keys will not work with locks set up using the HomeKit option. If you’d like to take advantage of virtual keys, you will need to reset your lock to factory settings and re-pair it using the Schlage system setup noted in number 5.

Unfortunately this lock does not work with the VeraPlus it will only work with the Apple Homekit which must be purchased separately.

After looking at these at my local hardware store and then reading about them and watch youtube video’s, I decided to purchase one of these locks. I also bought the BR400 so I could control lock from any location. I already had a Schlage lock on my door and i knew they made quality products. Fairly easy to install. The IOS app to control the lock is also easy to understand. We love it! I nice addition to our home.

The box and the organization of the device is great!! They did a great job on designing the box and material that comes with it.
The product itself looks amazing!! It has a very slick look, modern and looks amazing on any door. The material is very nice and strong.
I haven’t connected yet to wifi but it works great so far. Its definitely extremely safe and very hard to break.
Highly recommend it.

If you proceed step by step ( which is very detailed ) you will be fine. I had to adjust latch area where dead bolt goes into jamb.
Dead bolt must be able to freely extend and retract.

I recommend this product! It’s nicely designed – sleek look on the door and doesn’t feel or look cheap. Easy install too. Have been using it for the past 3 weeks with no issues. The motor that locks/unlocks the door is really loud. I guess you could think of it as an added security feature because you’ll know when the door is unlocking/locking even when you’re in another room. Lock is great for giving out individual codes for neighbors, housekeepers, dog walkers, etc. and to track their in/out history.
