If the lock is set up with the Schlage system option (ideal for Android users or households using both Android and iOS), you’ll need to add a Schlage Sense Wi-Fi Adapter to your home Wi-Fi network. Notifications will be enabled by default from the Schlage Sense app but can always be updated to your preference in lock settings.
After you’ve removed the lock from your app, use the app to pair the lock again. This time you will be presented with two options for set up – “Setup with HomeKit” or “Set up with Schlage System.” For your lock to compatible with both the iOS and Android smartphone app, you will need to select “Set up with the Schlage System.”
It’s important to note that virtual keys will not work with locks set up using the HomeKit option. If you’d like to take advantage of virtual keys, you will need to reset your lock to factory settings and re-pair it using the Schlage system setup noted in number 5.

Unfortunately, this does model work with Ring Alarm. For a model that will connect with this system, you will need a model from the Schlage Connect series.

As these locks are not interconnected, there is no drawing or template for both devices together since the distance between the two bore holes can be as much as you desire. We typically recommend at least a 5-inch distance between the center of the two bore holes for proper mounting.

There is a dummy handle available but there is not a bundle for this item. You would want to purchase the BE479 deadbolt separately along with the F10 passage handle.

One adapter can support up to two separate locks. When using Alexa or another smarthub, you will have the ability to unlock each door independantly. If you have more than two doors, you will need an additional Wi-Fi adaptor.

The Wi-Fi application is an optional feature. This model can be programmed directly at the lock itself.

This is a relatively new feature but you are able to use an Amazon Alexa to control your Schlage lock as long as you are using the Wi-Fi adapter.
