Since no combination will unlock the door currently, the combination chamber will need to be manually reset. This process will require the lock to be removed from the door.
To reset the combination chamber without the current code, please follow the steps in the document below.

These locks can certainly be installed on a gate but may require a gate box for proper mounting. The Simplex 1011 does not offer an override but the Simplex 1021 does feature a manual key override to bypass the keypad if desired.

Unfortunately, the lever and knob models each require slightly different housing. The lock will need to be ordered for either knob or lever usage.

Yes! The handles for this model is reversible to fit both left and right-handed doors.

I got these for a small business that had multiple doors that needed locking. Mechanical non electrical was what I was after and these will be perfect. Install took maybe half hour start to finish each door. We’ve been using for a couple months with no complaints. Easy to set a new code. The only negative is if your door has a window the frame of the window may have to be cut depending on your window size.

We have 5 gates that I use this lock in our community. Two of them needed replacing. Rather than hiring the job out as we have done in the past, I saved the community lots of money by doing the job myself. The instructions are good, and the lock comes with the necessary key and tool to do the job. I was able to change the combination to match our other locks, and change one of the locks opening direction.

I have purchased 4 of these locks for a single application: the gate to a private beach. Three have broken — average useful life is measured in weeks, months at best. I am about to install the 4th lock replacing the 3rd one that has become “temperamental”. Sometimes it works as it should, sometimes it just doesn’t. The first lock came with a fence purchased and installed by a contractor. When the lock failed I contacted Dormakaba and they sent me a replacement lock — I had to return the initial lock. I thought that the gate might have been binding at certain times of the day due to expansion of the aluminum fence. The second lock failed in a few weeks. We spent some time and effort to make sure that there is no possibility of the gate binding. Then I purchased/installed a replacement lock from Keyless (and ordered a backup lock from Keyless just incase). The current locks works most of the time. Then it doesn’t.

Easy to install. We had some issues with the number 5 button getting stuck but lock was still under manufacturer warranty and GO Keyless sent out a replacement ASAP!
Other than that, lock is functional and works well.
