Since no combination will unlock the door currently, the combination chamber will need to be manually reset. This process will require the lock to be removed from the door.
To reset the combination chamber without the current code, please follow the steps in the document below.

These locks can certainly be installed on a gate but may require a gate box for proper mounting. The Simplex 1011 does not offer an override but the Simplex 1021 does feature a manual key override to bypass the keypad if desired.

Unfortunately, the lever and knob models each require slightly different housing. The lock will need to be ordered for either knob or lever usage.

Yes! The handles for this model is reversible to fit both left and right-handed doors.

Easy to install. We had some issues with the number 5 button getting stuck but lock was still under manufacturer warranty and GO Keyless sent out a replacement ASAP!
Other than that, lock is functional and works well.

This lock was a replacement for the same product installed about a year ago. The lock is being used in an apartment building and gets a lot of use. Hopefully, this one lasts longer. We did install commercial door closures so that should help with the slamming and the wear and tear on the lock each time the door closes. The instructions are not super helpful and we ended up watching a YouTube video to complete the install.

#1 this product does NOT have a bypass knob so the door is ALWAYS locked. #2 Watch videos if you have any questions. Next time I will go with a less expensive version as it does the same thing only looks cheaper.

The Simplex 1000 series locks are nice looking but they have too many problems internally that give you a headache trying to fix cheap pins that break and for the money you pay they should at least put a better pin maybe a stainless steel roll pin. Just too many problems.
