Yes, these units are not handed and can be set to work in either direction.

Yes, it can be used outdoors but as it is a cabinet lock it is not recommended to be used on doors. If you need a bar mechanical lock we would recommend the M220.
- A Yes, the code is changeable. In order to change the code without removing it from the cabinet, you must know your existing code. However, there is a method to recover a code on cabinets where you do not know the code. The product itself is solid. It’s been in for a few months now and works well. I use it to keep toxic/hazardous stuff out of my kid’s reach. Also the GoKeyless people were very helpful with recommending products that would work for my setup. Shipped quickly too. The installation instructions were horrible, however. I admit that I was not previously familiar with lock terminology, which likely added to the challenge, but I would say I’m ‘above average’ handy at tasks like this. The photos were fuzzy, the figures were vague, and the wording wasn’t sufficiently clear. The schematic/template had multiple product numbers combined but did not have distinctive line symbology which made it challenging to differentiate between products. I deal with engineering plans for work, I could only imagine the difficultly if the installer was not familiar with visually decoding line work. I spent a significant amount of time examining each part and studying the mechanics to, effectively, figure out how to install it without having to rely entirely on the instructions. In the end I’m happy with it, though I wish I installed it a couple inches to the left (again, blame the instructions here).

Got this lock to put on metal box have not installed yet but lock is good quality. Have 4 simplex locks on our house work great.
