  1. Works well.

    HA Office (verified owner)

We installed this on a steel door at work. It was a replacement for a “light industrial grade” electronic lock that only lasted 2-3 years. Installation was a bit tricky as the previous door knob used a much larger hole. The enclosed steel plates were needed to make it fit. The installation instructions were adequate, but instructions about the “passage function” were confusing as best, and there was very little guidance about choosing your code. Since this is mechanical, any repeating numbers in your code are not necessary. i.e. if you use a date of 2023, you can enter 0, 2, and 3 in any order to open the lock and you do not need to depress the 2 twice. Also, it is confusing as to what “C” and “F” do. I finally figured out, by trial and error, to enter the code to open the door, and depress the F key to re-lock the door. (Does anyone know what “F” stands for?) “C” is apparently only needed when changing the code. We have not changed the code since installing the unit, but that would not be easy as it would need to be removed, recoded, then reinstalled. Once installed, however, it works well. We have had a mild winter so far, so I cannot say if freezing weather would be a problem for it. Sometimes I miss the light up keys (from our old electronic lock) at night, but it is much better not to have to deal with electronic locks that are finicky in bad weather and need to be replaced far too frequently no matter how high quality they are. We are looking forward to not having to replace this lock for years to come.

  2. Poor quality

    Jacob (verified owner)

Ordered these again and found out that quality is gone. Finish was a silver brass finish that was supposed to be stainless steel. I tried to get replacement but was told that this is how they are now. I’ll find a new brand that is not misleading and has standards.

  4. Excellent Service

    william (verified owner)

Purchasing the lock sets were easy. Shipping was fast even concerning todays climate.

The item fits very nice for my usage and is highly recommended for its purpose. My usage is on a boat dock and the locks hold up to several years of usage. While they dont last forever, considering where they are, I believe they hold up as good as any other lock.

I have and will purchase these again and am hoping it is more than 10 years from now.

  6. Perfect For Bathhouses At Our Campground

    Lea TAylor

We purchased these locks to put on doors that were never locked in the past. We just started to have vagrants realize that there we had bathhouses on our property and they would try to come in and shower. The locks arrived quickly and they were heavier and of better quality than we anticipated. We will likely order two more for our laundry. I like the feature of being able to set them to not need a code by using the F button and then back to making the code active with the FC button. We might like to leave the laundry unlocked during the day hours and lock it at night for the reason above. The trick is going to try to get our guests to remember the code to use them when they are mostly travelers, vacationers and weekend campers. 🙂

Quality Product. Looks good. Seems like it will stand the test of time. We installed this on exterior doors to an apartment complex.

  3. Q Does this have a key overide in case the lock breaks? answer now
Asked by Jon Lee on August 28, 2021 2:28 PM
    Answered by the admin

This model does not have a key override available.

  4. Answered by the admin

Yes, the outside keypad will lock after a code is used for entry and the interior handle will always allow a user to exit without a code.

  5. Answered by the admin

The trim for this lock is 2 1/4" (W) x 7 1/16" (L). The lock can be installed without using the rubber gaskets but we do recommend using them for exterior applications as these gaskets are designed to help prevent moisture from seeping between the lock and the door.
