SCHLAGE® just made the key obsolete! Because no key means no more fumbling in your pockets or digging around your purse. It also means Schlage Touch™ is 100% pick-proof and bump-proof. All in a low-profile design that’s incredibly sleek and—since it’s a Schlage— incredibly strong. Sorry, keys, but it’s better this way.

  2. Short term lock

    Slim jim

Looks very nice. Functions nice the first couple years. After about 2 years the spring inside wore out then was difficult to lock and unlock. I took it apart and adjusted the spring. It worked good for about 2 more weeks. It’s very difficult to adjust. Now I cant get it to work at all. Good luck with yours if you buy this.

Solid unit. Great finish & overall look. Fairly easy install (didn’t bother with the extra strike plate). V cool to have great security without keys. Just remember to lock up when you leave!

  4. Great fit

    BDC (verified owner)

This lock is a welcome relief from having to do the stop and double check before locking the house. I have locked myself out of the house more times than I care to remember. Now, I move about confidently because I can always get back in (unless I forget my code 😱).

  5. Easy peasy

    Alfred Reszka (verified owner)

This was easy to install. Because my prior deadbolt was also from Schlage, i only needed to change the external hardware but not the deadbolt itself. Programming a code was quick and easy.
As to the impact on our household, we are now using our front door as a frequent option for coming and going. We used to go through the garage when out for a walk in the neighborhood, because we could use the code for the garage door when we would return and needed keyless entry into the house. Using this keyless deadbolt on our front door is a bit quicker, really simple, and more convenient. We should have purchased one of these sooner!

  6. Simple Electronic Lock

    GIL HOOPER (verified owner)

The Schlage BE375 Touch Keyless Lock was easy to install and very simple to program and operate. We needed an easy way to exit and enter the house without carrying a key and this is it. We can also create and erase temporary codes for visitors which relieves us of having to give out keys. While we have used some very sophisticated and complicated electronic locks from Samsung and others, this Schlage lock if a better, cheaper and much easier product to use.

  7. So Convenient!

    Jewel S. (verified owner)

installation and usage of this lock has been so convenient. I’m never going back to using a key door lock again. The look matches my existing door handle perfectly. No more scrambling to look for keys. It even includes a light to see the numbers in the dark. We’re also glad that we used this website. The price was better than my local hardware store.

Customer Questions & Answers

  1. Answered by the admin

Pressing the Schlage button from the outside will typically allow you to unlock the door. This will give you a green light indicating that it was a success.

  2. Answered by the admin

The Schlage BE468 and BE469 are the current Z-Wave enabled models offered by the manufacturer.

  3. Answered by the admin

You may be able to but it is recommended to ensure that the bolt will easily fit into your existing faceplate. It may need to be adjusted slightly for full functionality.

  4. A there are 2 tabs that you can touch a 9 volt battery to that will give it power so you can enter your code for entery
  5. Q How do you reset the lock to change the code? answer now
Asked by Richard on February 4, 2020 7:51 PM
    Answered by the admin

Use the following steps to restore your lock to factory settings:
1.) Remove the two mounting screws on the inside of the lock
    2.) Disconnect the battery
3.) Press and release the Schlage button
4.) Reconnect the battery and wait for the Schlage button to stop glowing
5.) Press and hold the Schlage button until it glows green and the lock beeps!

Once complete, your lock will be back to its factory default code and settings.

  6. Answered by the admin

This typically is a clear indicator that the handing of the lock is backward. This means that your lock thinks it is installed on a right-hand door when it is actually installed on a left-hand door or vice versa. As this is an installation issue, you will need to remove the lock from the door to rectify this issue. When reinstalling the unit, you will want to ensure that your deadbolt is retracted (not extended) and that the manual knob of the lock is in a vertical position.

  7. Q Why does the outside lock spin loosely before unlocking? answer now
Asked by Phyllis on December 16, 2019 8:52 AM
    Answered by the admin

The manual knob will spin until a code is entered. At that time, the motor will move the solenoid into place and allow the knob to open the door.

  8. Answered by the admin

To lock the door from the outside, simply press the Schlage button at the top of the unit.

  9. Q Do all touchpad models have multiple codes capability? answer now
Asked by masone on October 24, 2019 9:54 AM
    Answered by the admin

This will depend on the model and the manufacturer of the unit. For Schlage models, all of their units typically support multiple user codes.

  10. Q How do you change the battery? answer now
Asked by Peggy on October 3, 2019 5:04 PM
    Answered by the admin

To change the battery on this lock, you will want to remove the black battery cover from the top of the inside portion. Once removed, simply disconnect and exchange the 9V battery inside before reinstalling the battery cover. It is recommended to exchange the batteries quickly and to ensure no keys on the keypad are pressed while the battery is disconnected.
