Customer Questions & Answers

The exterior portion of the lock is weather rated but the interior side is not recommended for outdoor use and would not be recommended for gate applications where both sides of the lock is exposed to the elements.
- Q We had the Schlage Touch BE375 installed for our new house but don’t know the six digit code. Is ... answer nowAsked by July 5, 2021 10:31 AMonAnswered by the admin
The default programming code can be found on the original paperwork that was included with the lock. If this is unavailable, you can retrieve this code from a sticker located on the back panel of the keypad unit (the lock will need to be removed from the door). Each Schlage unit is shipped with its own unique programming code from the manufacturer.

- Q Is this device compatible with the Z Wave system? can we control it by phone? answer nowAsked by June 20, 2018 3:21 PMon
- ABefore the batteries die the lock will notify you that they are low. However, if you fail to change the batteries before they die you can use a 9v battery to power the lock from the outside so you can enter your code and open the door. You can then change your batteries.

I recanted purchased a house and it had this lock installed already on the front door. I wanted to get one that marched for the back door and this one did the trick! Matches perfectly, easy to install and works great!

It’s been a dependable and good solution for our house. Like it a lot.
I think I’d like one that locks automatically when you close it next time however.
I run a commercial place so it gets a lot of use and has given us no problems —would recommend .
