Out of the box, this lock communicates via Z-Wave. However, the radio module can be swapped to support Zigbee rather than Z-Wave. For this, you will need the AYR202-ZB-HA Zigbee Smart Module. This can be ordered through any of our sales representatives!

As a stand-alone lock, there are no scheduling features to keep the door unlocked at set periods of the day. However, this can be accomplished when connected to a Z-Wave hub such as Vera or SmartThings.

These units can be keyed to match your existing key as long as the combination number is provided when the order is placed or if a copy of the physical key is mailed to our keying department to rekey the new units. For this, we would recommend placing the order with a sales representative to ensure that the locks are keyed correctly.

Paul Carroll –
I used this lock to replace an existing mortise lock and dead bolt set on a commercial building.
A critical feature was the ability to lock the door with a key at the end of the day, such that even if you have a pass code you cannot get in. This is the only lock of this type that I have found that has this capability. Most of these keyless locks are designed for residential use and let you in if you have a code, regardless of whether the deadbolt is thrown from the inside
Installation was easy, and the business owners are thrilled with the new system.
