Don’t waste time and money with lockouts, lost keys, and cumbersome key management. Skip the hassle and go keyless with the Yale nexTouch Sectional Mortise Lock. This heavy-duty mortise lock is equipped with a sleek capacitive touchscreen for digital code entry and a ADA friendly lever. Quickly generate secure digital codes to send to staff, vendors, and guests and monitor doors with real-time notifications. The nexTouch Z-Wave series easily integrates into your existing or new Z-Wave network, providing streamlined and centralized property management without having to install extra software. The lock’s low-battery indicator alerts you when it’s time to change batteries, and the 9V battery backup on the exterior prevents a lockout should the lock lose power. What others are saying

  1. The Yale nextTouch mortise lock is awesome !

    Paul Carroll

I used this lock to replace an existing mortise lock and dead bolt set on a commercial building.
A critical feature was the ability to lock the door with a key at the end of the day, such that even if you have a pass code you cannot get in. This is the only lock of this type that I have found that has this capability. Most of these keyless locks are designed for residential use and let you in if you have a code, regardless of whether the deadbolt is thrown from the inside
Installation was easy, and the business owners are thrilled with the new system.

Other handle styles are available for special order. For more information on this, please contact our sales team at 937-247-9327, option 1!

  2. A

These units can be keyed to match your existing key as long as the combination number is provided when the order is placed or if a copy of the physical key is mailed to our keying department to rekey the new units. For this, we would recommend placing the order with a sales representative to ensure that the locks are keyed correctly.

  3. Q What finishes are available? answer now
Asked by Denis Rewerts on August 24, 2020 9:43 AM

This model is available in Bright Brass (605), Dark Satin Bronze (613), Satin Chrome (626), and a Black Suede Powder coat (BSP).

  4. A

Only the exterior unit is weather sealed. This model is not recommended for outdoor gate applications.

  5. A

Yes, this model is field reversible!

  6. Q Does the keypad operate the deadbolt or just the latch? answer now
Asked by Dennis on May 28, 2019 7:39 PM

If the lock is ordered with the mortise/deadbolt combo, the lock will control the deadbolt as well as the latch.

  7. Q does it come with the mortise lock? answer now
Asked by Brian Gipson on May 27, 2019 3:27 AM

  8. Q Is this compatible with any smart home devices like Amazon Alexa? answer now
Asked by Austin on February 17, 2019 4:04 PM

Amazon Alexa is not a smart home device but an AI used by Amazon. The lock works with a Z-wave Hub such as the VeraPlus. The Hub can be interlinked with an Amazon Echo which then using Alexa could speak to the Hub which would open the lock.

  9. A

Yes, a key will always be able to lock and unlock the deadbolt.

  10. A

If you use the Z-wave function of the lock with a Z-wave Hub you can use up to 500 users. If you use the lock as a stand-alone lock being programmed at the door you can only use 25 users. The scheduling is dependent on the Z-wave hub software. With certain Z-wave hubs, you can do a single door schedule that controls the lock and is not user specific but lock specific only e.g. you have an 8-5 passage mode the lock will unlock at 8 and re-lock at 5 but it does not affect the specific users as a whole. With most Z-wave applications you can only do a single schedule per person and not for large groups of people. But again, this is all dependent upon the Z-wave hub you use and the software that it uses for control.
