Looking to use voice commands to lock your door with Amazon Alexa?  Simply pair the Yale wireless lock to the VeraPlus controller and then enable the Vera skill inside the Alexa app. Speak “Alexa, lock the front door” to your Amazon Echo or Dot, and Vera will lock the door.  Cool part is you can add electronic switches, Z-Wave LED bulbs, remote control outlets and other devices to create groups in Alexa for automating certain routines you manually do every day, like turning the lights off and locking the doors when you go to bed at night.

  1. Happy with product but......

    Wm Woodward (verified owner)

There are limited touch panel lever locks available that have z wave technology and especially z wave plus. While I am happy with the product: the app does not allow me to program in ‘codes’. that appears to be done only from the keyboard of the device. The app does allow you to lock and unlock the door. Generally pleased. Just wish I could do more with the app.

That may be a tight fit. This lock was designed for a single-hole doors and measures 6 7/8" inches on the interior at its highest.

  4. Q Is this lock Apple key compatible? answer now
Asked by Jim Montana on September 21, 2021 12:09 PM

To use with Apple Homekit Key, you will need the YRL226-CBA-619 model.

The latch retracts at the standard 60 degrees of rotation and cannot be adjusted.

  6. Q Does this work with the zigbee module? answer now
Asked by Erin on September 13, 2021 2:06 PM

The ZigBee module is sold separately but the lock is compatible. We would recommend purchasing the YRL226-NR version that does not include a Z-Wave module, then purchasing the AYR202-ZB-HA ZigBee module separately.
