The kwikset smart scan is working great so far. A little hard for kids to use. Requires multi scans of finger to insure opening on first or second try. Love the look of the lock. Looks much better then other biometric locks! Dave, Downey, CA

We are using the keyless system on one of our inside doors. I can usually unlock it with 1 to 2 tries. My wife is a different story. It can take her 5-10 tries on average, and sometimes as many as 20 tries. We have multiple recordings of her fingerprint (4 or 5 slots). She is very frustrated with this system and ready to abandon it. I wish I could be more positive. It has worked well for me but not for her. We are going to try recording her fingerprint 10 more times, just to see if that will help. Alessandro, Miami, FL
