The bridge will need to be connected via Ethernet in order to enter your Wi-Fi credentials through the Nexia portal under the device settings. After this is complete, the bridge can be unplugged and moved to its desired location.

Piss poor directions. Will probably have to go online to figure it out. May have to call Nexia. I need to use this as a secondary controller, not a main controller. It may work well once I figure it out, but I don’t know. I don’t like reading directions that leave you with more questions than answers, and I hate having to search for answers when you’re holding the directions in your hand. I am rating it below average at this point because I had to leave the property without getting it to work so I don’t know how it will work. It will be 2 months and another 2,000 mile trip before I get a second chance to try it. This could all have been avoided with clear, concise directions. Do it wrong and you loose all the info on your main controller (all your guest codes and stored codes as well as your devices), so it has to be done right the first time. I like anything that is simple, and so far this is not. Good advice for the company would be to give the instructions to some homeless guy and see if he can figure it out. If he can’t, then rewrite the instructions.
