Yes, this lock works with door thicknesses from 1-3/8" to 1-3/4".

If your current programming code is not allowing access to the settings menu, we would recommend performing a hard reset and using the factory default programming code to reconfigure the lock. The factory default code is located on the original user manual that was shipped with the device or it can be found on the backplate of the keypad unit.
Use the following steps to restore your lock to factory settings:
1.) Remove the two mounting screws on the inside of the lock
2.) Disconnect the battery
3.) Press and release the Schlage button
4.) Reconnect the battery and wait for the Schlage button to stop glowing

We can certainly ship the lock with additional keys! You will simply want to add the Key Copy service to your cart before checkout. A local locksmith would also be able to duplicate the key for you as long as you have the original key that ships with the lock.

When the battery is completely drained or disconnected, the keypad will not function. When power is disconnected, only the physical key will operate the lock.

This model is not recommended for applications where both sides of the door are exposed to the elements. Only the front keypad side of the lock is weatherproof.

To add a new code on the BE365, please follow the below:
- Enter your 6-digit programming code followed by the Schlage button.
- Press 1.
- Enter your new 4-digit access code.
- Repeat your 4-digit code. The lock should beep and exit programming mode when complete.
To delete an old code from the lock:
- Enter your 6-digit programming code followed by the Schlage button.
- Press 2.
- Enter your old 4-digit access code.
- Repeat your unwanted 4-digit code. The lock should beep and exit programming mode when complete.

Typically you would want to speak with a local locksmith or door hardware professional in your area to have this unit rekeyed. Another option would be to reach out to the manufacturer as they may still have the factory key number on file if you happen to have the serial number of the unit. For this route, you will want to contact Schalge support at 866-322-1237.

The random six-digit code is a programming code and cannot be used to unlock the lock. You can only use the four-digit codes as user codes.

It is a manual locking device so you must choose to re-lock the door after entry. If you need an auto-locking device the Schlage BE468 series will give you the ability to have auto-locking.
- AThe nice thing about this keypad is that it does have a backlight so at night you only need to push the Schlage button at the top and it will turn on and automatically shut off after five seconds of not pushing any buttons.

Was on the fence about using keypad deadbolt. Schlage’s BE365 is awesome, even better it is not linked to the Internet, WiFi or Bluetooth. Its a stand alone lock that works great. I don’t have to keep my keys with me all the time. Plus, GOKEYLESS has great customer service!

Worked well. Install wanted me to switch out the old strike plates for ones in box but they have rounded corners while my originals from 11 years ago are 90 degree corners ; at least it all still works together. Also the new bolt has a plastic lock piece to the turn handle rather than the old bolt which is all metal , so I reused the old bolt too.

Our home is 12 years old and felt a keyless lock would work great for our situation. We are very pleased with the quality of Schlage. The only slight issue were the installation instructions provided by the manufacturer. They are definitely not geared for the layman, even our professional installer had some issues which he finally worked around. The GoKeyless customer service folks were great and I recommend buying from them.

I bought the lock for a piece of rental property. The renter was here this past week end and he is very happy with the lock. I have used it a couple of times to replace a/c filter and such. I too am pleased. It was easy to install and to set the codes for both the renter and our on site management.
