Looking to use voice commands to lock your door with Amazon Alexa?  Simply pair the Yale wireless lock to the VeraPlus controller and then enable the Vera skill inside the Alexa app. Speak “Alexa, lock the front door” to your Amazon Echo or Dot, and Vera will lock the door.  Cool part is you can add electronic switches, Z-Wave LED bulbs, remote control outlets and other devices to create groups in Alexa for automating certain routines you manually do every day, like turning the lights off and locking the doors when you go to bed at night.

GoKeyless™ is a factory trained and authorized Yale Real Living™ dealer. Sales, service, support, valid warranties. It's why thousands of clients around the world choose GoKeyless™ for their security and access control needs each year. Yale Bans the Key, Connects Lock to Internet This is the first electronic push button lock to go all-in on eliminating keys.  The B1L from Yale is their next generation deadbolt lock.  As you can see it is cylinder-less.  Signaling in premium car brands, the premium maker of locks built you this new lock with an integrated Z-Wave radio for remote control over the web, and made it key free.  In the same way you can push a button and start your car, you can pair the Yale B1L lock with a Z-Wave hub and remotely unlock/lock it from anywhere.  This makes a lot of sense when you think about it.  Keys are a nightmare, and gaining control of your locks from your phone can be the determining factor in whether your place gets ransacked, your kids make it inside safely after school, or you lose hours of your day because you have to leave and let someone in.  Instead of sitting back passively and putting your home and family at risk, potentially giving someone free-rein of the inside of your house, dump your current locks for the B1L and do away with annoying keys.  Then sync it to a Z-Wave controller to begin your venture into home automation.  This is when it becomes game changing.  You can enjoy incredible security with more freedom, convenience, and information to survive whatever comes your way.  And it's all at Yale's most aggressive price point ever for this level of control.  Control that was impossible at this price until now. About Yale Reaching back nearly 150 years, Yale is one of the oldest international brands in the world and one of the best-known names in the locking industry. The Yale history captures major innovations that have marked the evolution not just of Yale, but of the entire locking industry.

  1. Answered by the admin The exterior of the lock is rated to withstand outdoor conditions such as wind and rain. The lock has an electronic warranty of 1 year on its parts. If the lock fails within that period it would be replaced.
  2. Answered by the admin Yes, both scenarios can be done when paired with a hub. Please take a look at the hub below that will allow you to accomplish this. https://www.gokeyless.com/product/veraplus/
