Access Aligned: A Grocery Bag Disaster

Before GoKeyless was transforming access control across the country, it started with a simple, and slightly frustrating, moment.

Co-founder Josh Stamps was juggling groceries, trying to fish his keys out of his pocket… and dropped the bag. In that instant, one question came to mind:

“Why are we still using keys?”

That everyday frustration sparked something bigger. Josh and his longtime friend Brandon Atchley, high school friends who never exactly loved the status quo, saw an opportunity to rethink access entirely.

From that anti-establishment mindset came innovation. From innovation came GoKeyless.

What started as a simple question has grown into a company helping organizations modernize security and rethink how access should work in today’s world.
