The Ezlo Plus Smart Home Controller provides highly customizable and efficient control over your smart home. Controls Z-wave and Zigbee devices with ease, including lights, thermostats, door locks, sensors, and more, from multiple manufacturers. Features Z-Wave Smart Start technology which is a learning mode for faster pairing of devices and S2 framework for enhanced security. This smart hub enables voice control for over 27,000 WiFi devices paired to Alexa or Google Assistant. Once connected to your Z-Wave and Zigbee devices*, you can create personalized scenes with group triggers featuring new EzloCast technology, such as turning lights on as you enter or actions like telling Alexa you’re home then it will set the thermostat. Home will feel like a luxury hotel without the “luxury” prices. Geared towards larger homes and more demanding smart home environments, Ezlo Plus quickly and efficiently processes your automation commands and scenes for maximum performance. Use local control for ultra-fast responsiveness and to keep your system off the cloud. Ezlo Plus supports VistaCam indoor, outdoor, and doorbell cameras for greater peace of mind that your home is monitored when you are away. Get remote access and system notifications sent to your iOS or Android phone through the Vera App. With a sleek design and powerful technology packed into one small device, this smart hub just might be the only home controller you’ll ever need.
Please note: Mesh networking is specific to each protocol, so a Z-Wave lamp dimmer will not act as a repeater for a distant ZigBee thermostat.
When you enable the Vera skill inside your Alexa app, Vera becomes the nerve center of your connected home, processing exactly what you tell Alexa to do. Recommended as a best-in-class home automation system, Vera has the capability of controlling lights, locks, thermostats, fans, garage doors, and more smart devices which you can turn on and off by speaking “Alexa” to your Amazon Echo or Dot. You can add electronic switches, Z-Wave LED bulbs, remote control outlets, and motion sensors to create groups in Alexa for automating certain routines you manually do every day, like turning off the lights, locking the doors, and closing the garage when you go to bed at night.

Customer Questions & Answers
- A
Yes, the Ezlo Plus is compatible with the Schlage BE469.
- Q Can this be used in place of ADT monitoring with the Lynx/Quickstart Control Panel? answer nowAsked by October 17, 2021 5:18 PMonA
At this time, there is no integration between Ezlo and Lynx. The Ezlo hub would act as a replacement for the ADT system and Lynx panel.
- Q Does the Ezlo Plus controller work in all regions or is it restricted to the US? answer nowAsked by July 21, 2021 2:27 AMonA
Each hub is restricted to its respective region as each country operates on a different Z-Wave frequency. This hub would only be for US usage.

There is no monthly or annual fee to use the Ezlo service.

Found out after purchase that this is not compatible with Schlage locks. At least not the FE599NX. Played around with it for an hour and after a call we found out it does not work with that lock.
For all it’s claims about how well it connects it doesn’t.

If you are looking at this unit, you might already be a Vera user. If you are new to the game and looking for a starting unit, it is worth noting that Ezlo bought out Vera. Ezlo has brought their controllers to Vera and stopped production of the VeraPlus/ VeraSecure/ ECT. This is the replacement for those. I have used Vera for a long time. I figured it was time to upgrade since new devices wouldn’t work with my older Vera (Lite). I purchased this unit and that was the beginning of the end for my network. There is massive amounts of conflicting information on trying to upgrade the unit, but I settled on just starting from scratch and pairing everything to the new unit one by one. This is a task when you have invested as much time and money into automating a whole house. Once I was done, the unit performed well for about a solid month. Only little weird one off things here or there. Now, half the items don’t work, have false readings, or are calling for reporting so much, battery powered units are dead within a week. There was also a huge trimming in the amount of honing you can do to fix this (and plenty of other) issue(s). The app has always been a streamlined version of what you could accept from their site, but with the site no longer being able to see the controller, there is no path to be able to correct many of these issues. Home automation should make my life easier, not harder and/or more unpredictable. I hate to say it, but I think it is time to retire from Vera and look to other options because Vera is not Vera anymore.

I have been a long time Vera customer. the new ezlo plus is not ready for use. the scenes do not work constantly, devices status in the app does not update to the proper state, you cannot delete devices, smart devices do not load by scaning the qr code. Tech support takes days to reply when they do schedule an appointment they do not keep it. the online forums for ezlo are not as good as Vera was. I have had a device that will not boot for over a month. I let the backup battery die, I followed the reset directions. tech support is not help. they ask you to do things which are not possible since the device is off line. when it did “work” my light would be physically on, but the app would say they are off ( or vice versa) simple scenes to turn a device off after 5 min, would not work. some devices do not even work ( door sensors).

Have had Vera for many years through multiple editions and loved the flexibility and reliability. BUT, the new replacement is a disappointment on many levels. The app is not consistent in keeping up to date with status, and frequently takes up to a minute to make changes. The lights and fans are slower, and the thermostat is doing odd things, like strange modes etc. After an internet outage, it doesn’t seem to connect itself till I turn it off and on. The ease of programming scenes is no longer the same. Plus, lack of ability to use it without an online interface is a big disappointment. Add to it the unavailability of previous modules to connect with other devices is missing. And the support/instructions is as good as missing. The online help forums are choppy, confusing and mostly unmonitored. Will be looking for a replacement soon..
