Wireless Water Sensor Alerts You When There's a Problem Dealing with water damage can be one of the worst things you ever come across.  Do your little ones not turn the faucets off all the way?  Or maybe your soft water tank has been known to spring a leak?  Could be anything, key is you need to catch it before it turns into something big.  Instead of worrying whether there's a leak in the basement, upstairs, or at your vacation home, you can put this sensor in all of the places prone to leaks, and overflows.  Under the sink, next to the tub, behind the toilet, next to the sump pump, in the laundry room, next to the water heater, by the refrigerator, and by the dish washer.  Water sensor is also ideal for detecting pipes which freeze.  Whenever a pipe begins to leak, or burst, you can be alerted on your phone, or by email from your Z-Wave home security system.  The sensor's buzzer provides local alerts.  Water alarm protects your home, and can help you avoid a catastrophe. Result is peace of mind, and worry-free, uninterrupted living.

  1. 2 of 3 did not work

One worked as expected. Second appeared to have been opened previously. Batteries were corroded and device did not function. Replacement sent and did not work either. Gave up and moved on to other brand.

Customer Questions & Answers

  1. Q Can this be mounted in a sub pump that is outdoors? answer now
Asked by Melissa on April 24, 2017 12:46 PM

As long as the device is within the range of the HUB and it is not exposed to the weather it could work. However, distance and weather could have a much greater effect with it being outdoors.
