Marine Grade Industrial Strength Push Button Lock

Meet the steel that will keep you secure day in and day out. With a heavy duty lever and passage function, this lock uses recessed buttons for added security and a breakaway slip clutch in the handle that prevents damage when unauthorized use occurs. Very tough.

I rated it a 4 because I found GOKEYLESS to be very helpful, and I found the lock set to be well built, and reasonably easy to install. I would have rated it a Five, but the door handle is ridiculously small. My hands are not large, yet I can only get three fingers around the grip, with no room left over for the pinky. This makes for uncomfortable operation. I think that the manf. should point out in the specifications that this is a “child size” door handle!

Customer Questions & Answers

  1. A

Yes, you can enter the code in any order as long as you get the right numbers.

  2. Q Does this lock fit a 2 inch gate and a 2 3/8 inch lock set ? answer now
Asked by Ross Sabiston on May 4, 2019 3:09 PM

While it will fit those dimensions it is recommended that you speak with our gate sales to ensure that you have the proper setup on your gate to install this lock.

  3. Q Can you set multiple codes at one time for employees answer now
Asked by forrest on October 26, 2018 10:03 AM

No, this is a mechanical lock which only uses a single code for entry. That code can be given out to multiple people but they will all have the same code. If you need something with multiple codes we would recommend the Eplex E2031.

  4. A

Yes, this lock is cylindrical and will work outside on a gate. However, you need to make sure that you have enough room top to bottom on your gate box to fit the size of this lock. If not you can purchase a new gate box to go with this lock that will need to be welded in place of your existing box.

  5. A

We have this, take a look at GB-1150.

  6. Q Will this lock work with a "Crash Bar" exit device? answer now
Asked by Larry Watkins on January 18, 2017 4:18 PM

No, ufortunately, this lock is not designed to work with panic bars. We would suggest depending upon your needs to look at either a the 285-P or the commercial grade 1 5010. Both will work with panic bars but the 5010 is commercial grade 1 while the 285-p would be considered light duty.
