This can be used as a replacement but you will need to drill new mounting holes to properly mount the PDL1300NW.

It certainly can! Rather than needing a separate receiver, the remote will simply pair with the locks internal radio to operate the device.

Regardless of what the sales guy tells you, you don’t NEED a gateway. This can be programmed locally, and it’s pretty easy for a handful of users. If I was managing more than 15 users, I’d probably spend the extra money for the gateway. But for my 7 users, this was easy to handle without spending the extra cash.
