What others are saying

  1. Reliable and easy to use

The unit is very solid. I like how flexible it is with the codes we set, and how easy it is to set them. My employees have had zero problems figuring out how to use it. It is what I thought I was getting and paying for.
Installation requires a locksmith unless you have exactly the door it was designed for. There was a fair amount of customization required to make it ft. I would have never gotten it done as a DIY. Figure $175-275 for the installation. But I wanted a secure, reliable, easy to use lock that could handle the weather and abuse, and I’m happy I got this one.

  2. It does what it is supposed to do

    Scott Schultz (verified owner)

We have purchased several of the Trilogy DL2700WP/26D door locks for our facility and everyone of them has performed great for us. We program all of them with the same master code for the maintenance people and then each building is programmed with a separate code for those employees to use. I recommend also buying the rain cover to keep the keypad dryer.

  4. Convenient, Fast, & Durable

Jonathan Ramirez- Diamond General Construction Inc (verified owner)

We had to hire a electrician to apply the timer and install 4 of these in laundry rooms. When I say it’s ten times more secure it is definitely. The whole reason they contracted us was to provide a safer way of gaining entry to the laundry rooms on site of the commercial property. Thanks to GOKEYLESS we were able to provide a more secure and durable method of providing entry to the laundry rooms in the property. I recommend this product to anyone that is trying to look for a product that is the best quality, safe, and easy. GO KEYLESS!!!

  6. More delicate than other locks

    Joe (verified owner)

The installation process is not simple and one wrong move can make the lock inoperable. Otherwise, all good.

We have this lock on our church door and love it. It is easy to use and once it is programed it is very easy to add new codes.

  8. Great lock

Kevin Marquart-Project Manager Wildfire homes (verified owner)

We have used the Trilogy lock on 3 of our buildings, in a development. easy install, programming went faster every building. They have been in use now for a few months and have had no complaints by tenants. Product appears to do what it claims . We will continue to use these through out the development

  9. Great electronic lock

    Chris (verified owner)

I run some lodging properties and these are perfect for what we need. I love how you can use a 3 digit code (or more if you want) and not have to push any other buttons… when looking into locks be sure to find out not only how many numbers are needed for a code, but also how many other buttons you have to push to have it unlock. Other locks make you use 4-6 digit codes and have to push arrows, stars, hash tags etc. which turns out to be a pain in the *** if you are using it frequently. Batteries last years & code updating is the easiest in the industry. Duronodic is a nice, comfortable color that makes the Trilogy T2 look less industrial… but how about just calling it oil rubbed bronze like everyone else 🙂

Only con is the installation and there are a few less than ideals. The lock has a unique hole drilling template so is not easy to install. Also it is a royal pain to switch the handle if needed out of the box, as well as not easy to get the width right to match the door. I can install most residential locks myself just fine (electronic & not), however I have ended up hiring a locksmith to install the Trilogy T2 just so that it is done right and quickly.

  10. Consistently good & reliable

    Jane (verified owner)

After looking extensively for an upgrade to our previous 10 year old keylock, we ended up purchasing the same (updated) lock and are once again very pleased with it’s quality and usability. Firstly, it works! It’s reliable, easy to install, and easy to use. I recommend this lock to anyone looking for a secure, reliable keyless lock.

Customer Questions & Answers

  1. Q Do you sell a plastic cover for the waterproof locks? answer now
Asked by Michele Simmons on March 8, 2024 7:09 PM
    Answered by the admin

For a weather guard to fit your Trilogy lock, we recommend the STI 6516!

  2. Q How many codes will this lock accommodate? answer now
Asked by Danny on February 21, 2024 2:01 PM
    Answered by the admin

This lock can hold up to 100 unique user codes.

  3. Answered by the admin

This is the normal indicator that the batteries in the lock are getting low and need to be exchanged. To Change the batteries on the DL2700:

    1. Remove the screw securing the battery door on the interior side of the lock. The battery door should lift away
    2. Pull out the white battery pack and unplug the white connector to disconnect it from the lock.
    3. On the top side of the battery pack, remove the 4 Phillips head screws to open the pack. You may need to remove a portion of the security tape to lift this cover away.
    4. Once open, exchange the 5 AA batteries inside. Reattach the cover and reapply the 4 screws to hold the pack together.
    5. Plug the battery pack back into the white connecter and place the pack back into the lock. Reattach the metal battery door to secure it into place.
Please avoid pressing any buttons on the lock keypad while the battery pack is unplugged as this can potentially cause the lock to reset back to factory defaults, erasing any programming currently in the door.

  5. Q Would I be able to keep track of which code were used to open the locks? answer now
Asked by Cyril Thomas on December 20, 2023 5:03 PM
    Answered by the admin

The DL2700 model does not support audit features. For audit trail capabilities, we would recommend using the DL2800 with the DL-Windows software. This will allow you to retrieve and view all events on the lock such as what user code was used and what time, any failed access attempts, and any scheduled changes or updates.

  6. Q Does this model require extra holes drilled in door? answer now
Asked by Jeff on December 11, 2023 6:05 PM
    Answered by the admin

This depends on what preparation has already been done to the door in question, or what lock has been installed onto it previously. Please refer to the installation template to learn more about what will need to be done for this lock to be installed properly.

  7. Answered by the admin

You can open this lock with the physical key override if a power or motor failure has occurred on this lock.

  8. Answered by the admin

The battery pack is located on the interior side of the lock. To be able to change the batteries, you will need to be able to access the room the lock is installed onto.

  9. Q Can you use rechargeable AA batteries? answer now
Asked by Cbc on June 5, 2023 8:06 AM
    Answered by the admin

You can use rechargeable batteries for this unit, though it is not recommended as battery life tends to drain quicker when using lithium batteries. It is recommended to use alkaline batteries for optimal performance.

  10. Answered by the admin

If you are wanting to change a user code every month, this can be done in minutes! Please refer to the user manual for more information on the process of adding, deleting, and changing user codes.
