What others are saying

  1. Good lock

    A. Gomez (verified owner)

I installed those on metal doors, so I required help from a professional to do it correctly. The configuration is easily explained in the booklet. It’s a great lock for different codes, users, etc. Recommended.

  2. This is a great lock

    Noah Crissman (verified owner)

We upgraded our basic Lowe’s residential level lock to this lock. We are extremely happy with this purchase. The different features are really helpful. Installation was breeze and while more than we anticipated easier than expected after our first glance. The original set up programming gave us a little trouble, but we feel that it was user error.

  3. My Barn

    Monty (verified owner)

I purchased this product because of fear of theft in my barn. During this crazy time of people being layed off work theft will go up. This lock has given me peace of mind.

  5. Very satisfied!!

    Brian In Maine (verified owner)

I wanted to use this for added security on a new building. I gave the contractors different codes to enter the building and then expired them as their work was complete. I plan on doing the same thing with employees.

After the installation we were asked if it had audit capabilities.
Which of course that was another model.
    Other than that quite satisfied.

  7. Quality seems nice. Maybe overpriced

    Travis (verified owner)

More software features than an older version of the same model I have. Moderately secure lock. Weakness is probably the pins/tumbler as with any Schlage lock.

  8. Excellent for use on a server room door

    Marc Ferrelli (verified owner)

This lock is installed on a server room door. The installation can be a bit challenging but the programming and operation are great once you have the lock installed.

  9. Good until deep freeze

    Denning Todd (verified owner)

The system works great but can freeze lower keys in extreme cold with moisture. Be sure to get the optional plexiglass covers for better weatherproof capabilities

Customer Questions & Answers

  1. Q Can I change the master code?? answer now
Asked by Charles Bowen on October 19, 2020 1:51 PM
    Answered by the admin

You can certainly change the master code as long as the current code is known! To do this, simply follow the sequence below:

    [Current Master Code] - A - 1 - A - [New Code] - A - [New Code] (6 beeps and a red flash means programming was complete)

  2. Answered by the admin

Yes! If an incorrect code is entered 6 times in a row, the lock will shut down and deny entry for 60 seconds. The number of attempts needed and the lockout time are adjustable through the locks settings.

  3. Q Can this lock be used in conjunction with a panic bar on the interior side? answer now
Asked by William K Hendrickson on September 4, 2020 2:54 PM
    Answered by the admin

To pair these with an exit bar, you will need the ETDL version that can be found here: https://www.gokeyless.com/product/alarm-lock-trilogy-t2-etdl-electronic-pushbutton-exit-trim/

  4. Answered by the admin

The DL2700 has a maximum door thickness of 1 7/8". However, this lock can be specially ordered to fit a 2.5" thick door. The part number needed for this is DL2700WP/26DW64 and is available through our sales team!

  5. Answered by the admin

Yes, the lock will use the external power tap as the primary source if connected. The batteries may still have low drain over time but will serve as a backup in the event that the primary power comes disconnected.

  6. Answered by the admin

The locks are shipped with a 2 3/4" backset. A 2 3/8" backset can be ordered separately for standard residential doors.

  7. Answered by the admin

The keypad sound can be disabled by typing in the following sequence at the keypad!

    [Master Code] - A223A

  8. Q Are there scan cards available to use with this lock? answer now
Asked by cathy napolitano on June 22, 2020 11:50 AM
    Answered by the admin

This model does not support proximity card access. Only Trilogy locks that begin with PDL can accept fob entry.

  9. Answered by the admin

If the current master code is not known, you will need to reset the lock back to factory settings. This will restore the default master code of '12345'.

    Hard Resetting your Trilogy lock
    1 Disconnect your battery.
2 Hold down the "5" button for 10 seconds
    3 Reconnect your battery.
4 You'll hear a beep after you reconnect the battery. Immediately after hold down the "A" button until you hear a slow steady beep.

  10. Q Can the lock be disengaged to stay unlocked? answer now
Asked by Ed on May 18, 2020 2:29 PM
    Answered by the admin

It certainly can be with the use of the Master code!
