You can add electronic switches, Z-Wave LED bulbs, remote control outlets, and motion sensors to create groups in Alexa for automating certain routines you manually do every day, like turning off the lights, locking the doors, and closing the garage when you go to bed at night.

The World's Most Compatible Home Controller Is Also Easiest to Use!

The all-in-one VeraPlus aims to simplify and enhance your smart home experience by allowing you to connect an even wider range of smart devices including those that use Bluetooth and Zigbee.  Geared towards larger homes and more demanding smart home environments, VeraPlus quickly and efficiently processes your automation commands and scenes for maximum performance.  VeraPlus essentially mirrors everything VeraEdge can do, including compatibility with Z-Wave and WiFi devices, and then adds in a faster processor with more memory and the two new wireless protocols.  One note of caution:  Mesh networking is specific to each protocol, so a Z-Wave lamp dimmer will not act as a repeater for a distant ZigBee thermostat.  Found to work flawlessly in even the most sophisticated custom installations across the world, Vera can be trusted upon to let you set it and forget it, always working in the background to guarantee the most comfortable and personalized home you imagine.

A Vera Controller Unifies All Your Favorite Brands

Vera Controllers go way beyond what security hubs do, working with all the big brands including Nest, Dropcam, Insteon, First Alert, Philips Hue, Linear, Schlage, Kwikset, Yale and more. View all your cameras and control everything from one easy app. Compatibility and flexibility are what Vera is all about!

What others are saying

  1. Vera Plus Z wave controller

    Dale (verified owner)

The controller may be awesome, but I can’t say so far. I am still trying to get the motion sensor to stop sending me messages that it is offline, then online again. I get my maximum number of messages from Vera Plus (2) nearly every day – one that says it is offline and the other that says it is back online.

  3. Working as expected

    Ryan (verified owner)

I received the product and got it up and running with different z-wave devices, DSC security system and Honeywell thermostat. I created multiple scenes that turns on outdoor lights automatically. It also turns on the above cabinet lights automatically. I was able to program the scene to not turn on the cabinet lights if the alarm was armed in “Away” mode. If the alarm was disarmed and it is after dusk it automatically turns on the cabinet lights.

I received the package in a new/unopened box and it was promptly shipped the next business day.

Customer Questions & Answers

Asked by DONALD JOHNSON on October 18, 2020 7:11 PM

As long as the sensors are Z-Wave plus enabled, they should certainly be able to connect with the Vera controller.

  2. Q Does Z Wave hub support multiple Schlage Connect Electronic door locks? answer now
Asked by Vince Mallya on October 7, 2020 4:02 PM
    Answered by the admin

It certainly does! Each Vera hub can control up to 220 Z-Wave locks at once as long as the devices are within range.

  3. Q Does this work with 908.42 Mhz Z-RF Wave devices? answer now
Asked by Robert Nunemacher on September 3, 2020 5:34 PM

Yes, this controller is designed to only communicate with the North American Z-Wave frequency (908.42 Mhz).

  4. Q Does it work with AEOTEC zwave devices? answer now
Asked by Charles on August 20, 2020 1:59 PM
    Answered by the admin

Vera is certainly compatible with all AEOTEC Z-Wave plus devices.

  5. Answered by the admin

Generation 1 SmartThings gateways utilize Zigbee, Z Wave, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

  6. Answered by the admin

The Vera Plus will only be able to control devices that communicate over Z-Wave, Bluetooth BLE, or Zigbee radio. Hardwired devices, such as an electric strike, typically require a hardwired access panel or similar controller for complete control (such as the Linear E3 system).

  7. Answered by the admin

This may be accomplished via third-party plugins but Nest products are not officially supported on the Vera platform.

  8. Q Am I able to set this up with my Google smart hub? answer now
Asked by Tyrone Williams on July 5, 2019 8:48 AM
    Answered by the admin

Yes, these two devices can be paired together so that you can interact with your Vera system through Google Assistant.

  9. A

The vera keeps all of the programmings so even if it gets a new IP it will not affect the programming or connectivity to the product.

  10. A

Yes, it is possible to operate Iris products as they are Z-wave and most functions and abilities per the Z-wave alliance will be available as Vera is a Z-wave hub.
