The Codelocks CL555 is a heavy duty mechanical pushbutton mortise lock with one added advantage: Code Free mode. Switch it on and the door works like a standard passage lever, so staff and visitors come and go without a code. Switch it off and you are back to secure pushbutton access. An ANSI Grade 1 mortise latchbolt, stainless steel pushbuttons, and sturdy lever handles deliver dependable keyless entry with no batteries and no wiring.
A mechanical key override gives authorized staff a backup way in. It is a natural fit for offices, schools, healthcare facilities, and shared spaces where a door needs to stay open during business hours and secured after.
The non-handed design fits left or right hand doors from 1-3/8" to 2-3/8" thick, and the zinc alloy body with stainless steel finish is suited for interior or exterior use. Backed by the Codelocks limited lifetime warranty.
