- Cam Fixing Point: 8mm (5/16”) square
- Door Thickness: KitLock 1000 is supplied ready to fit to doors up to 19mm (3/4”) thick. For doors 6.35mm (1/4”), 12.7mm (1/2”), 25mm (1”), or 28.5mm (1-1/8″) thick, you will need to install the spare spindle provided. Save time and let us do this for you with our Custom Shell Size service.

KitLock 1000 are a quick retrofit for keyed cam locks supplied as standard on a wide range of lockers, cabinets and cupboards. The keyless locks are easy to fit, taking just a few minutes to remove the existing cam lock and then making an additional top fixing for the new lock. KL1000 can also be fitted to a locker or cabinet that does not have an existing locking device already fitted, giving the user immediate, simple, keypad access without the hassle of keys! Once in place the lock will perform 15,000 openings on just two AAA batteries. Yes! The batteries can be exchanged by removing the top mounting screw and rotating the keypad over the edge of the door to access the battery compartment.

Yes, the position of the small thumb turn on the front tells you if it is locked or unlocked.

While it has four different levels of users it has two modes of operation, you can do a private use which would be one single code used repeatedly by a user or you can do shared use which would again allow only a single code to be used but it would be added and deleted everytime a new person uses the lock. The second option is best for gym locker rooms or other shared type facilities.

We have 4 of these now and they are overall good. The most recent install went poorly, had to bend the tang and adapt it more than previous…..couldn’t use either of the two provided. I also could not get it to accept a submaster code. Never had that problem before either.

We really like this product. We use the 2 keyless locks in a medical clinic for samples and in office medications. More convenient for all staff to have access without needing a key for entry. I would recommend to any medical practice needing safe practice with more convenient staff access.

I purchased 6 locks, 1 doesn’t work. I called customer service at Gokeyless thinking they would just replace it. Instead they directed me to a 2nd company to help me “trouble shoot” my broken lock. I felt the lock should have been replaced by Gokeyless as that is who I purchased the lock from, and not pawn me off to another company for help. The lock has not been replaced or fixed yet, this was months ago.
