Linear Open and secure your doors with browser-based access control from Linear. The Elite appliance is a scalable 4-door system you can manage from anywhere you can get on the web. With no independent server, network, or dedicated workstation hardware needed, Elite lets you leverage your existing network infrastructure to deploy an entry-level, easy-to-use, expandable access system to control when and who can enter, and manage the entire application from any device, both locally and remotely. Backed by decades of experience, the full-featured software included with your self-contained hardware controller offers the type of programming you'd expect to find in systems for larger applications. The magic is in how simple Linear makes it to get up and running and start using it. After placing eMerge on your network, open your favorite web browser, type in the web address, and follow the setup wizard. Once you connect your included door readers and electric locks (strikes, or maglocks), you can create access levels, user schedules, and begin issuing credentials. The bundle comes with the Linear P-300HA readers, commonly used to control access with cards. A 10-amp power supply is included with the Elite product. This gives you enough wattage for the controller, and what you'll need at the door for your strikes and mags, up to 8 doors. An optional POE module is also available. The eMerge Elite platform comes with a software license for 4-doors, up-to 8 readers, and 5,000 users. Start with a couple perimeter and interior doors, and then as you need, simply purchase access control modules (2-door and 4-door) and expansion nodes (2-door and 4-door) to expand up to 36 doors. For facilities with larger user populations (up to 10,000), and/or the need to secure additional doors (up to 128), upgrade licenses are available. Elite is a step-up from eMerge Essential in capacity and features. Options to do badging, elevator control, timed anti-passback, one-time scheduled events, and threat level management are all turned on in Elite ensuring you're not caught flatfooted with a system incapable of handling your security needs.  The combination of dependable security and a full-featured system makes Elite a top-tiered choice for companies operating in the medical, industrial, retail, banking, transportation, and institutional fields of business.

Customer Questions & Answers

  1. Q Do the readers get wired with 22-6 shielded cable? answer now
Asked by Rodrik Rotterman on January 7, 2021 10:13 AM
    Answered by the admin

The terminals are designed to accept 12-22 AWG, solid or stranded wire. 22-6 cable should work great to wire the readers back to the eMerge panel.

  2. Q Is this system Alarm.com compatible? answer now
Asked by Emily Baade on June 5, 2018 3:36 PM
A No, Alarm.com works with products that are Z-wave compatible. The Linear e-Merge solution is a hardwired access control unit designed for commercial applications.
