The difference is that the 2500 is a full-size lock with a sliding bar or hook and the C-150 is for cabinet doors. While either one can work for a sliding door we recommend that you speak with one of our sales staff before choosing as there can be many factors that come into play with a sliding glass door.

Works fine. My door was narrow so the lock when closed butted up to the door frame and I had to file the frame back a little to give me easier access to the keypad

I purchased two sets for my sliding patio doors. They will not fit without making some sort of adapter plate to space them away from the door and the jam. Other priorities have kept me from tackling this problem or returning the lock sets. I truly want a keyless entry for these doors but I am not sure I can make these work.

The lock was easy to setup and it functions well. The strike plate wasn’t as strong as I wanted, so I upgraded it for $5 at the hardware store.

Code setting could have been better. I requested the full length code but since there cannot be any identical sequential numbers, only half of the code was entered requiring me to do this myself.

I purchased this lock with the hopes of using the internal (installed) locking mechanism. After much trial and many errors, I bypassed (removed) the installed locking mechanism and then mortised in the catch. After much trial and error, I have a sliding door lock installed on an Andersen sliding patio door. I am now ordering another for another sliding door. One thing, I swapped out the screws for the catch with 2.5 inch drywall screws to ensure a more secure fit.

The lock is pretty cool actually. Had read in one review about the latch sticking out. It does indeed stick out. But the lock is very secure and simple to install. Would recommend to other buyers.

Lock installed for most part as per instructions. Had to mortise aluminum jamb and wood behind jamb to allow plunger/hook to function correctly. Not for unskilled installer. Approx 1.5 hours for skilled installer. The outside part of the product is not bad and has some really good features/ideas. However’ the inside part of the product looks horrible. I doubt that I will use this product on the sliding glass door in my family room. The moving latch is unacceptable and ugly. I can appreciate that the design is intended for right and left door latching but to have the ugly latch portion sticking out when the door is unlocked stinks. The whole latch mechanism should be inside to the door and jam’ not sticking out like a sore thumb.

THE ONLY WAY TO LOCK. I’ve made several purchases from GoKeyLess.com’ The latest purchase was the Lockey M210’s and 2500. I’m extremely pleased with the ease of installation and the way these lockey sets work. A person can relax and not worry about losing keys and the code for the locks can be changed anytime if the need comes up.
