  1. Pretty good!

This lock/lever combo looks and feels sturdy. It has nice aesthetics. However, I like our M210SN-EZ better as far as function. This is mainly due to the code often needing to be entered multiple times before working on this model. If the buttons aren’t pushed just right, it doesn’t accept the code. Maybe we just got an especially touchy unit??? If I have a scenario where I can use the M210SN-EZ instead, I definitely will. That unit has been flawless for a year now. You just have to be able to install the M210SN-EZ in the deadbolt hole and have a separate handle, which wouldn’t work for the door where we installed this product. I do like the option to have this product either automatically lock OR stay unlocked when the door is shut. The code thing isn’t a deal-breaker, but it is enough of an inconvenience that I only gave 4 stars. You also need to be sure that you get the right length bolt because it comes in 2 lengths. Found that out the hard way!

It’s alright. I use it for my inward swing garage door (not my over head garage door). I had a problem convincing my wife to lock this access point, because her car is keyless, and she didnt want to pull out her keys, so the LD471 was our comprimise. Easy to install. Easy to change combination codes. More of added convenience than added security. I would recommend a deadbolt and a Latch Protector/Guard. Three stars because I was told it was made in the U.S.A. when it was actually Made in China.

The simplex model we recieved was installed in a backyard entree gate. Being outside we will see how it holds up.

I have Installed and used the Simplex LD 470. It is very easy to install and to program. The lock is being used as a security measure in the first floor bathrooms in one of our office buildings. I have gotten no complaints with the operation of the devices. The only negative I have is that the buttons are a little hard to read. The lock is a good value for the money.
