  1. Great Lock,, easy programming, android style

    Mark E/

We had a keyless in our old rental. We hired a locksmith to install (I’m NOT very handy), but the programming was easy peasy. The locksmith was here for 30 minutes, and just charged the trip charge and the min. labor. $135.00 all in.

Customer Questions & Answers

  1. Q Does this work with Apple Homekit? answer now
Asked by Eddie on October 29, 2020 7:12 PM
    Answered by the admin

Currently, only the YRD246 and YRD256 models are compatible with Apple Homekit. This model is designed to operate with other Z-Wave plus smart controllers such as Vera or Nexia.

  2. Q Does this lock work with Alexa? answer now
Asked by AEric on October 12, 2020 10:30 PM
    Answered by the admin

This model is fully integrated with Alexa controllers!

  3. Q Can this lock be re-keyed to match existing keys? answer now
Asked by Jennifer on September 4, 2020 9:59 AM
    Answered by the admin

Yes, we are able to rekey these units prior to shipping. We would recommend communicating with a sales representative when placing the order so that they may collect the information needed to have the lock keyed to your existing combination.

  4. Answered by the admin

If the door is locked, a code or the manual key will be needed to retract the deadbolt and allow entry. The bottom handle is a passage handle and will always retract the latch when turned.

  5. Answered by the admin

Yes! The YRD deadbolt features an auto-lock function to automatically lock the door after it is unlocked.

  6. Answered by the admin

Yes, this can operate as a standard deadbolt.

  7. Answered by the admin

The software programming for schedules is attached to the user and not to the lock itself. So you can program a user to be able to come in during those times, but to have the lock, lock and unlock itself is not possible on a schedule.

  8. Answered by the admin

For the YRC226: Single point lock. Latchbolt is operated by either lever at all times. Deadbolt activated by touchscreen or key on outside or by thumbturn on inside. Interior lever retracts latch and deadbolt simultaneously.

  9. A Yes with the lock and faceplates will be able to cover that size of bore hole.
