ASSA ABLOY ACCENTRA NTX742

The ASSA ABLOY ACCENTRA NTX742 is a contactless smart credential updater designed to keep access credentials current, secure, and synchronized across an Accentra access control system. Functionally identical to the NTX712, the NTX742 features a larger, wall-mounted form factor, making it ideal for locations where mullion mounting is not practical, such as interior walls, lobbies, security desks, or enrollment areas.

At least one credential updater is required per Accentra system, and the NTX742 is especially well suited for high-use access points or centralized enrollment locations where credentials need to be updated frequently through regular use. As users present their credentials, the NTX742 automatically refreshes permissions, audits, and security data—ensuring credentials remain valid without manual reissuance.

The NTX742 can operate as a single-door controller for standalone applications or as a credential enrollment station, supporting efficient system setup and ongoing credential management. Its wall-mounted design provides flexibility in system layout while maintaining the same reliable, contactless performance as the mini-mullion models.
